Musical Theatre/Theatre Generalist - Beginning date: August 2008

Responsibilities: Direct two main-stage productions a year. Teaching responsibilities include directing, musical theatre, acting, movement
and voice, and theatre appreciation. Teach courses in other areas depending on candidate's expertise. Other duties include advising,
recital coaching, recruitment, and involvement in university, school, and departmental governance.
Qualifications: MFA or Ph.D. in related area with experience in directing musical theatre and drama. Experience in undergraduate
teaching with a desire to connect and inspire students. The applicant should have a commitment to the liberal arts tradition and be able to
support the school's productions in technical areas when not directing. Successful candidates will have the ability to work creatively and
collaboratively through the production process with faculty, staff, and students with sensitivity to artistic issues within a Christian academic
setting.
